Bank reconciliation prep
Reconciling takes minutes a week, not a lost day at month-end. Most bank lines are coded before anyone looks, and the leftovers come as one short list.

How it runs
What we build, step by step.
This is the usual shape. Yours gets built around how your team actually does the job.
- 01
New transactions pulled daily
Bank and card lines are read from the feed each morning, with read-only access.
- 02
Known suppliers coded the same way every time
Once a supplier has been coded, every future payment to them is coded the same way. Suppliers that vary, like a hardware shop that sells you both tools and stock, are learned from a few examples.
- 03
Card payouts split into sales and fees
Each payout from your card processor is broken into the sales, refunds and fees inside it, and matched to the invoices it pays.
- 04
One question list for the rest
Anything unclear goes to the right person as one short list, with a suggested answer for each line. They answer by reply.
- 05
Everything staged for approval
Coded lines and matches wait in the books for your bookkeeper to review and accept in a batch.
Shown with software we see a lot. If your team uses something else, we build it into that instead.
Built for your business
Same job, different business. We build yours.
Two firms in the same trade rarely run a job the same way. Different software, different steps, different people signing off. We build it for your business, around how your team actually does the job.
Your steps
Built around the order your team already works in, odd exceptions included.
Your software
Runs inside the tools you already pay for, set up the way you use them.
Your rules
Your wording, your limits, your sign-offs. Nothing generic goes out in your name.
You sign off
Your team keeps the final say.
Nothing posts until your bookkeeper approves the batch. New suppliers, and any line we're not sure about, always come with a question, never a guess.
What it's worth
What those hours add up to.
3 hours a week, over 46 working weeks, is 138 hours a year. At $50 an hour, that’s
$6,900
back in the business, every year.
Typical, not promised.
Before and after
The job, before and after.
How it runs today
The bank feed fills up with lines nobody has coded. Card-processor deposits land as one lump that doesn't match any invoice, because fees and refunds have already come out. Reconciling takes hours, and the same questions get asked every month.

A month in
Reconciliation drops from a lost day at month-end to minutes a week, and the same supplier stops getting coded three different ways.
FAQ
Does bank reconciliation prep need our bank login?
No. It reads the bank feed your accounting software already has, it can't move money, and we never ask for bank logins.
We take payments through Square and Stripe. Can it handle both?
Yes. Square and Stripe payouts are matched separately, so the fees are recorded properly for both.
