AI for Finance
AI for Finance means you get paid sooner because every overdue invoice is chased on schedule, supplier bills and receipts land in QuickBooks or Xero without anyone typing them, and the month-end pack is mostly done before your bookkeeper opens it.

Sound familiar?
It's all up onthe office wall.
The same four headaches, pinned up every week and never quite sorted.
Money you've earned but haven't collected
The work's done and the invoice is sent, then nobody chases it, because chasing feels awkward and the office is flat out. Thirty, sixty, ninety days go by, and wages still go out on Friday.
Bills and receipts typed by hand
Supplier invoices arrive as PDFs in three different inboxes. Crews keep fuel and materials receipts in the van. Someone keys them into the books at the end of the month, and half the receipts are missing.
A month-end that takes a week
The bank feed is half-coded, card payouts don't match deposits, and your bookkeeper spends the first week of the month asking what things were. The numbers turn up when it's too late to act on them.
No idea which jobs make money
You know the business made a profit last year. You don't know which jobs, customers or kinds of work earned it, because nobody has time to match materials and hours back to each job.

At every stage
It won't be perfect. That's why a person sees anything that matters.
Portfolio and client data collection
An analyst or partner checks flagged figures against the source before anything goes into a board pack or investor update.
Invoicing and payment chasing
Invoices that don't match the quote, and any customer who disputes the work, go to a person.

- What does AI for finance cost to run once it's built?
- A small monthly running cost for the software it uses, stated upfront in the proposal, plus an optional retainer if you want us to look after it. The fair test is hours saved (around 12 a week for a typical bookkeeper) times what those hours cost you, minus the running cost.
- How long does a finance build take?
- A first finance build is usually live in one to two weeks. A person then checks its work, often through one full month-end, before it runs on its own.

FAQ
What owners ask us first.
Something we haven't covered? Ask it on the call.
Will AI post entries to our books without asking?
No, not unless you decide it should. Bills, coding and matches wait for a person to approve, and anything unusual keeps waiting even after the supervised weeks. Most owners only let the repeat, low-value entries through on their own.
Does AI replace our bookkeeper or outside accountant?
No. It takes the typing and chasing off your bookkeeper's plate, typically around 12 hours a week, so the time you pay for goes on checking and advice. Most accountants are happy to get cleaner books, and we can bring them into the handover.
Is our financial data safe?
Yes. Everything runs on accounts you own, with the narrowest access each job needs, and bank data is read-only. Every permission is written down in the handover pack, and you can revoke any of them yourself.
Will customers mind getting automated payment reminders?
Most customers just pay. Automated payment reminders come from your own address, in your words, and say exactly which invoice and how much. Anyone who replies with a dispute gets a person, not another reminder.
We use QuickBooks Desktop, not the online version. Does that matter?
It can. QuickBooks Online and Xero connect cleanly, while QuickBooks Desktop is more limited, so we check what's possible on the free call and say so plainly in the proposal.
