How it works
01What do you actually do?
ELFBRIX builds AI elves that do the jobs you don't want, like chasing quotes, sending invoices and finding where you're losing money, inside the software you already use. Each one is built around how your business already works, and you sign off on anything that matters.
What's an elf?
An elf is ELFBRIX's name for one job done by AI, built for your business. The Quote Elf chases quotes. The Booking Elf texts back missed calls. The Invoice Elf sends the invoice when a job's done and chases payment. Each does its job the same way every time, inside your own email and software.
Can it look at our numbers?
Yes, read-only. The Numbers Elf goes through your accounts and job software for the leaks a busy owner never has time to chase down, like work priced under cost or a supplier creeping up. You get the list with what each one costs you a year, and what to do about it stays your call.
Is it a chatbot?
No, an ELFBRIX elf isn't a chatbot. Nobody has to type anything to it. An elf picks the job up on its own, does it, and only comes to you when something needs a person.
What does it look like day to day?
Mostly, you don't see it. Elves check your job software, inbox or accounts on a schedule and do the job. When something needs a decision, it lands in front of the right person as an email or a text, in the tools they already use.
Do we need new software?
No. Elves work inside what you already pay for: Gmail or Outlook, Xero or QuickBooks, your job software. The integrations page lists every tool we connect to.
How long until it's running?
Your first elf gets built on the free call, in 30 minutes. A bigger build usually takes one to two weeks, including the time your team spends checking its work.
Is it off the shelf?
No. Two businesses in the same trade rarely run a job the same way, so we map how yours works and build to that: your steps, your software, your sign-offs. The solution pages show the usual shape, not a template.
Are you a software company?
No, ELFBRIX is an AI implementation consultancy, not a software company. We build inside the software you already pay for, so there's no new app to buy or log in to.
Safety and your data
02Will it send things without asking?
Not until you say so. While an elf is new, anything going to a customer or moving money waits for a person to approve it. You decide which jobs it can do on its own, and when.
What if it gets something wrong?
Elves can get things wrong, like any new starter. Early on, your team checks their work and we fix whatever they flag. Anything out of the ordinary, like a quote twice your usual size, goes to a person instead of the elf taking a guess.
What do I get on the monthly retainer?
We keep improving your elves: better wording, better timing, fewer things that need you. We fix anything that drifts, update them when your prices or software change, and build the next ones with you.
Is our data safe?
It runs on your own accounts with only the access each job needs, and nothing trains anyone's AI. We'll sign an NDA if you want one.
What access do you need?
Only what each job needs, through accounts in your name. When we're done you can take our access away and nothing stops working.
Can we switch it off?
Yes, any elf, any time. Your team can pause it and do the job by hand again, and nothing else breaks.
Who owns it?
You do. Every elf runs on your accounts, whether we hand it over or keep improving it.
Your team
03We're not technical. Is this for us?
Yes. Nobody on your team needs to be technical. We do the building, and what they touch turns up in the inbox or software they already use.
How much of my team's time does it take?
An hour or two to show us how the job runs now, then a few minutes a day checking its work while it's new. We do the rest.
Will it replace my staff?
No. Elves take the jobs your staff hate, like chasing and retyping, so they can spend the time on work customers pay for.
Half my team already uses ChatGPT. Why do we need you?
Because each of them uses it differently, and when one leaves, whatever they set up leaves too. ChatGPT also can't see your job software or send anything for you. We set the elves up once, properly, so the business keeps them.
Do you train our team?
Yes. When an elf goes live, we show your people what it does, what they sign off and how to pause it. A one-off build also comes with video guides for everything.
What if the way we work changes?
On a retainer, we handle it. If we handed it over, your video guides cover the small changes, and we'll quote anything bigger.
Cost
04What does it cost?
ELFBRIX offers two ways to pay. A one-off price to build it and hand it over, with video guides for everything. Or a monthly retainer where we keep improving it. Either way you see the price in writing before anything starts.
What does it cost to run?
The AI subscription that powers your elves, on your own account. Your plan tells you what that comes to before you commit.
Why don't you list prices?
Because every elf is built for one business, and they aren't all the same size. A Quote Elf in Gmail is a smaller build than an Invoice Elf moving invoices between three systems.
How do I know it'll pay for itself?
Your plan puts a number on the hours each elf should save every week, and you'll see in your own week whether it does. If an elf won't pay its way, we'll tell you not to build it.
Are we locked into a contract?
No. A one-off build is paid once and it's yours. A retainer runs month to month, and if you stop, your elves keep running on your accounts.
The free live build
05What is a free live build?
A free live build is a 30-minute ELFBRIX call on the job you'd most like gone. We build its elf with you, live, so you see it work on your own job, and you keep it whether you hire us or not.
What's the catch?
There isn't one. No card, and what we build is yours whether you hire us or not. It's the quickest way for you to see if this is worth paying for.
What should I bring?
A list of the jobs your team does by hand every week, or wishes nobody did at all. Chasing quotes, retyping invoices, answering the same email twenty times. Bring the software they live in, or just share your screen.
Who should be on the call?
You, and whoever does the job now if you can spare them for half an hour. They know exactly where it gets stuck.
What happens after the call?
If there's more worth doing, you get a plan within 48 hours: what we'd build, the hours it should save and the price. If there's nothing worth doing, that's the end of it.
What if there's nothing worth building?
Then we'll tell you on the call. Not every job pays for itself, and we'd rather say so than sell you one that doesn't.
Is it a fit?
06How big does my business need to be?
ELFBRIX works best with owner-run businesses of around 5 to 100 people. Big enough that admin eats real hours, small enough that you make the call.
Do you only work with the industries listed?
No. The industries on the site are where we see the same problems most often. If your business runs on email, spreadsheets and a few cloud tools, a free live build will tell us whether we can give you hours back.
Which way of working with you should I pick?
Start with the free live build. After that, pick a one-off build we hand over, or a retainer where we keep improving it. You don't have to decide on day one.
Can we build it ourselves from your solution pages?
Yes. Every solution page lays out the steps and the hours it gives back, free to read. Start there, and call us for the parts you'd rather not do yourself.
