MerrinInbox Elf
Around 6 hours a week back.
Sound familiar?
It's all up onthe office wall.
The same four headaches, pinned up every week and never quite sorted.
Recalls slip
The recall list lives in your practice software, and working it means texting or phoning patients one by one between check-ins. On a busy week it doesn't happen, and those patients drift to the practice down the road.
Empty chairs from late cancellations
A patient cancels at 8am for a 10am slot. By the time someone has rung round the short-notice list, the hour has gone and your clinician is sitting idle.
The phone never stops
Opening hours, prices, parking, do you take my insurer, can I move my appointment. The same dozen questions come in all day, and every call pulls someone off the desk.
Receptionist turnover
When a receptionist leaves, the unwritten rules about recalls, the waiting list and who needs a call back leave with them. The next hire learns it all from scratch.

- What does AI for a clinic cost, and how long does it take?
- A first clinic build is usually running in one to two weeks, and the price is in a written proposal you get within 48 hours of the free call. It depends on how many jobs we take on and which systems are involved. We supervise it at first, then hand it over or keep improving it.

FAQ
What owners ask us first.
Something we haven't covered? Ask it on the call.
Does AI for a dental or medical clinic touch patient records?
No, not by default. A front-desk build for a clinic reads appointment times, contact details and recall due dates, and nothing else. Clinical notes, charts and X-rays stay in your practice software. Anything that needs more, like treatment codes for a pre-authorisation, is scoped separately and you sign off on exactly which fields it can see.
What about privacy rules like GDPR or HIPAA?
We sign a data processing agreement with your clinic before any build starts, or a business associate agreement if you're in the US. Every account the system uses is in the clinic's name and only gets the access each job needs. The handover pack lists every permission, so you can switch any of them off.
Will clinic AI work with Dentally, SOE, Cliniko or ezyVet?
Usually, yes. Most practice software either connects directly or can export the appointment and recall lists the build needs. We check your system on the free call, before you pay anything, and if we can't reach it we tell you straight rather than sell you a workaround.
Will patients know they're getting automated messages?
Patients see a message from your clinic: it comes from your own number and email, in your practice's tone, and they can always reply to reach a person. Anything clinical (pain, swelling, a question about medication) goes straight to your team and never gets an automated answer.
Will AI replace my clinic receptionists?
No. The build takes the repetitive calls and recall chasing off your receptionists, typically around 20 hours a week, so they can look after the patients at the desk. New receptionists get up to speed faster too, because the routines are written down and already running.
