First drafts of standard letters
Routine letters in minutes instead of twenty. The draft is already built from your own precedent when the lawyer opens the file.

How it runs
What we build, step by step.
This is the usual shape. Yours gets built around how your team actually does the job.
- 01
Your precedent bank organised
We collect the standard letters your firm uses and agree which ones are in scope.
- 02
A draft when the matter calls for one
When a task or event on the matter needs a standard letter, a draft is prepared from the right precedent.
- 03
Facts filled from the matter
Names, addresses, references, dates and amounts come from the matter record, with anything missing clearly marked.
- 04
Saved for review
The draft is saved to the matter for the responsible lawyer to edit and send.
Shown with software we see a lot. If your team uses something else, we build it into that instead.
Built for your business
Same job, different business. We build yours.
Two firms in the same trade rarely run a job the same way. Different software, different steps, different people signing off. We build it for your business, around how your team actually does the job.
Your steps
Built around the order your team already works in, odd exceptions included.
Your software
Runs inside the tools you already pay for, set up the way you use them.
Your rules
Your wording, your limits, your sign-offs. Nothing generic goes out in your name.
You sign off
Your team keeps the final say.
A lawyer reads, edits and sends every draft. Nothing goes out from a draft automatically.
What it's worth
What those hours add up to.
4 hours a week, over 46 working weeks, is 184 hours a year. At $50 an hour, that’s
$9,200
back in the business, every year.
Typical, not promised.
Before and after
The job, before and after.
How it runs today
A lawyer or paralegal finds an old letter on a similar matter, copies it and edits the names, dates and facts by hand. It's quicker than starting from blank, but old details slip through and each letter still takes twenty minutes.

A month in
Routine letters take minutes, the wrong client's details stop turning up, and juniors learn from the firm's best precedents instead of whatever they found last.
Which letters to start with
Start with letters that are mostly the same every time and where the facts come from the file: engagement letters, requests for information, follow-up requests and cover letters. Anything that argues a position or gives advice stays with the lawyer from the first word.
FAQ
Will AI letter drafts make things up?
They're built not to. Draft letters come only from your firm's precedent and the facts on the matter, and anything missing from the file is left as a clearly marked gap, not guessed. A lawyer reads and edits every draft before it's sent.
Can it draft advice letters?
No, we don't build it for that. Standard letter drafting is for routine correspondence where the wording is already settled. Anything that argues a position or gives advice stays with the lawyer.
