Leave requests and the time-off calendar
Clashes get caught the moment someone asks, not on the Monday they're off. Staff request leave by text and the manager approves in one tap.

How it runs
What we build, step by step.
This is the usual shape. Yours gets built around how your team actually does the job.
- 01
Requests by text or email
Staff send the dates they want in plain words. The request is recorded and the dates are read back to them to confirm.
- 02
Checked against the calendar and balance
The request is compared with who else is off and with the person's remaining leave, and any clash is pointed out.
- 03
Manager approves in one tap
The manager gets the request with the clash check and approves or declines.
- 04
Calendar and schedule updated
Approved leave goes onto the shared calendar, so whoever schedules jobs can see it.
- 05
The employee told
A short confirmation, or a note to talk to their manager, sent back by text.
Shown with software we see a lot. If your team uses something else, we build it into that instead.
Built for your business
Same job, different business. We build yours.
Two firms in the same trade rarely run a job the same way. Different software, different steps, different people signing off. We build it for your business, around how your team actually does the job.
Your steps
Built around the order your team already works in, odd exceptions included.
Your software
Runs inside the tools you already pay for, set up the way you use them.
Your rules
Your wording, your limits, your sign-offs. Nothing generic goes out in your name.
You sign off
Your team keeps the final say.
A manager approves or declines every request. We only check and record.
What it's worth
What those hours add up to.
1 hours a week, over 46 working weeks, is 46 hours a year. At $50 an hour, that’s
$2,300
back in the business, every year.
Typical, not promised.
Before and after
The job, before and after.
How it runs today
Time off gets asked for in passing at the yard, by text to you, or on a sticky note. Two techs book the same week in the school holidays, nobody remembers who said yes, and the schedule finds out on the Monday.

A month in
Everyone knows who's off when, clashes get caught when the request comes in instead of on the day, and leave balances are right without a spreadsheet hunt.
FAQ
We track leave in a spreadsheet. Is that fine for leave requests by text?
Yes. Leave balances can stay in your spreadsheet, or move into an HR system if you'd like. We'll suggest whichever is less work for you.
Can staff text in sick days too?
Yes. Staff text in sick, the manager and scheduler are told straight away, and the day is recorded.
