Where's-my-tech calls mostly stop. The customer knows who's coming and when, and the tech doesn't have to press anything extra.

How it runs

What we build, step by step.

This is the usual shape. Yours gets built around how your team actually does the job.

  1. 01

    Departure spotted

When the tech closes the previous job, the next customer is lined up for a message.

  2. 02

A text with the tech's name and arrival time

Sent from your business number, with a photo of the tech if you'd like one included.

  3. 03

    Access checked

The customer can reply if something has changed, and the tech hears about it before arriving.

  4. 04

A follow-up if the time slips

A second text with the new time, so the first one is never wrong for long.

  5. 05

    Replies sent where they belong

A gate code goes to the tech. A request to move to Friday goes to the office.

Shown with software we see a lot. If your team uses something else, we build it into that instead.

Built for your business

Same job, different business. We build yours.

Two firms in the same trade rarely run a job the same way. Different software, different steps, different people signing off. We build it for your business, around how your team actually does the job.

  • Your steps

Built around the order your team already works in, odd exceptions included.

  • Your software

Runs inside the tools you already pay for, set up the way you use them.

  • Your rules

Your wording, your limits, your sign-offs. Nothing generic goes out in your name.

You sign off

Your team keeps the final say.

Customer replies that need an answer go to a person. Techs are never asked to text while driving.

What it's worth

What those hours add up to.

3 hours a week, over 46 working weeks, is 138 hours a year. At $50 an hour, that’s

$6,900

back in the business, every year.

Typical, not promised.

Before and after

The job, before and after.

How it runs today

Customers get a four-hour window and ring the office twice to ask where the tech is. Techs forget to send the on-my-way text, or send it from their personal mobile. Some turn up to an empty house.

FAQ

Our software already sends on-my-way texts. Why add this?

Some job software does, if the tech remembers to tap the button. This sends the on-my-way text without the tap, adds an arrival time, and handles the replies.

Does it track our techs' location?

No new tracking is added. On-my-way texts work from job status, and from vehicle tracking only if you already have it.
