How it runs
What we build, step by step.
This is the usual shape. Yours gets built around how your team actually does the job.
- 01
A year of bills pulled
Supplier bills and card spending for the last twelve months, read from the books.
- 02
Duplicate suppliers grouped
The same supplier under different names or accounts is spotted and grouped, and the duplicates listed for tidying up in the books.
- 03
Spend by item and supplier
What you buy, how much and from whom, so you can see the same item bought from four places at four prices.
- 04
Savings worth chasing
Volume that could earn a trade discount and items you could buy from fewer suppliers, each with a rough yearly saving.
- 05
Talking points drafted
For your biggest suppliers, a short note on what you spend with them and what to ask for.
Shown with software we see a lot. If your team uses something else, we build it into that instead.
Built for your business
Same job, different business. We build yours.
Two firms in the same trade rarely run a job the same way. Different software, different steps, different people signing off. We build it for your business, around how your team actually does the job.
Your steps
Built around the order your team already works in, odd exceptions included.
Your software
Runs inside the tools you already pay for, set up the way you use them.
Your rules
Your wording, your limits, your sign-offs. Nothing generic goes out in your name.
You sign off
Your team keeps the final say.
It finds and sizes the savings. Which suppliers you use and every price conversation stay with you, and only your bookkeeper merges duplicate accounts in the books.
What it's worth
What those hours add up to.
6 hrs a quarter
Typical, not promised.
Before and after
The job, before and after.
How it runs today
Different people buy the same things from different suppliers, and one supplier has three accounts in your books under slightly different names. You spend enough with your main merchant to deserve a better rate, but nobody has added it up to ask.

FAQ
How is this different from the monthly spend review?
The monthly spend review catches price rises and dead subscriptions as they happen. The supplier spend review looks at a whole year of buying, to find where you should be paying less in the first place.
Is a supplier spend review worth it if we only use a few suppliers?
Maybe not. A supplier spend review pays off once you're buying from a dozen or more suppliers. If it won't pay back for you, the proposal will say so.
