hours a week back, typically

How it runs

What we build, step by step.

This is the usual shape. Yours gets built around how your team actually does the job.

  1. 01

    Daily check for missing time

Each person's logged hours are compared with their working days, so gaps show up the next morning, not at month end.

  2. 02

    Suggested entries from the calendar

Client meetings and blocked work time become suggested entries, matched to the right client and project.

  3. 03

A quick nudge where people work

A short message with the suggested entries, confirmed with a click or corrected in a minute.

  4. 04

    A month-end status for finance

Who's complete, who's missing hours, and which entries are too vague to bill.

Shown with software we see a lot. If your team uses something else, we build it into that instead.

Built for your business

Same job, different business. We build yours.

Two firms in the same trade rarely run a job the same way. Different software, different steps, different people signing off. We build it for your business, around how your team actually does the job.

  • Your steps

Built around the order your team already works in, odd exceptions included.

  • Your software

Runs inside the tools you already pay for, set up the way you use them.

  • Your rules

Your wording, your limits, your sign-offs. Nothing generic goes out in your name.

You sign off

Your team keeps the final say.

The person who did the work confirms every suggested entry. Nothing is logged on anyone's behalf.

What it's worth

What those hours add up to.

4 hours a week, over 46 working weeks, is 184 hours a year. At $50 an hour, that’s

$9,200

back in the business, every year.

Typical, not promised.

Before and after

The job, before and after.

How it runs today

Most people log time on Friday afternoon from memory, or at month end when the finance lead starts chasing. Hours get lost, entries are vague, and invoices wait on the last few stragglers.

What we build

  • Daily check for missing time
  • Suggested entries from the calendar
  • A quick nudge where people work
  • A month-end status for finance

A month in

Time is complete before month end, fewer hours go unbilled, and the finance lead gets two days of their month back.

FAQ

Does it work with our time-tracking tool?

Yes, if your time-tracking tool can share its data. Plenty of firms track time in a sheet or their project tool instead, and we connect to that. We confirm which in the proposal.

Will the team feel watched by timesheet chasing?

Not usually. The messages only ask about missing time, and each person sees only their own suggestions. In practice most people like not having to rebuild their week on a Friday.
