Client reporting
Half a day per client back, every reporting cycle. The report is drafted in the client's format before the account lead sits down to write it.

How it runs
What we build, step by step.
This is the usual shape. Yours gets built around how your team actually does the job.
- 01
Work done pulled from the project board
Completed tasks, milestones hit and work coming up are collected for each client.
- 02
Numbers collected from the source
Web, campaign or delivery figures are pulled for the period, each linked to where it came from.
- 03
A draft in the client's usual format
Same headings and layout the client is used to, with the facts filled in and room for your commentary.
- 04
Gaps flagged, not filled
A missing number or an update with no source is listed for the account lead instead of being smoothed over.
- 05
Sent from the account lead's inbox
Once reviewed and edited, it goes out from the account lead's own email.
Shown with software we see a lot. If your team uses something else, we build it into that instead.
Built for your business
Same job, different business. We build yours.
Two firms in the same trade rarely run a job the same way. Different software, different steps, different people signing off. We build it for your business, around how your team actually does the job.
Your steps
Built around the order your team already works in, odd exceptions included.
Your software
Runs inside the tools you already pay for, set up the way you use them.
Your rules
Your wording, your limits, your sign-offs. Nothing generic goes out in your name.
You sign off
Your team keeps the final say.
The account lead reviews every report and writes the interpretation. The draft says what happened. Your team says why.
What it's worth
What those hours add up to.
5 hours a week, over 46 working weeks, is 230 hours a year. At $50 an hour, that’s
$11,500
back in the business, every year.
Typical, not promised.
Before and after
The job, before and after.
How it runs today
Before every report, someone copies finished tasks from the project tool, pulls numbers from analytics and ad accounts, and rewrites last month's commentary. It takes half a day per client, and it lands right when delivery is busiest.

A month in
Reports go out on the same day every week or month, account leads spend their time on the commentary, and clients stop asking for updates in between.
What happened, and why it happened
The part of a report clients value is your read on it: why a number moved, what you'd change. The part that takes the time is collecting the numbers. The build does the collecting and leaves the explaining to you.
It also won't pass off a guess as a cause. If a figure moved and nothing in the record explains it, the draft says so and leaves the explanation to the account lead.
FAQ
Can each client keep their own report format?
Yes. Each client's report template is set up once, and every draft follows it.
We use Monday.com, not Asana. Is that fine?
Yes. Client reporting connects to the project tool you use, and Asana, Monday.com, ClickUp and Trello are all common.
