Owner monthly updates
Fewer 'what was this charge?' calls. Each owner gets a plain monthly note on rent, repairs, what's coming up, and what you need them to decide.

How it runs
What we build, step by step.
This is the usual shape. Yours gets built around how your team actually does the job.
- 01
The month pulled together
Rent collected, arrears, work orders completed and what they cost, and anything still open, per property.
- 02
What's coming up
Lease renewals, certificate expiries and planned works for the next 90 days, from the trackers.
- 03
A short update drafted
Plain English, with any repair over your threshold explained and every decision you need from the owner listed at the top.
- 04
Sent after a quick read
The manager reads it, edits if needed, and sends it from their own address.
Shown with software we see a lot. If your team uses something else, we build it into that instead.
Built for your business
Same job, different business. We build yours.
Two firms in the same trade rarely run a job the same way. Different software, different steps, different people signing off. We build it for your business, around how your team actually does the job.
Your steps
Built around the order your team already works in, odd exceptions included.
Your software
Runs inside the tools you already pay for, set up the way you use them.
Your rules
Your wording, your limits, your sign-offs. Nothing generic goes out in your name.
You sign off
Your team keeps the final say.
The property manager reads every update before it goes to an owner.
What it's worth
What those hours add up to.
3 hours a week, over 46 working weeks, is 138 hours a year. At $50 an hour, that’s
$6,900
back in the business, every year.
Typical, not promised.
Before and after
The job, before and after.
How it runs today
Owner statements come out of the software, but the explanation doesn't. Managers write covering emails by hand, or skip them, and then field calls from owners asking what a charge was for.

A month in
Every owner hears from you once a month without anyone writing from scratch, and the 'what was this charge?' calls drop off.
FAQ
Does it replace the owner statement?
No. The owner statement still comes from Buildium. The monthly owner update is the plain covering note that explains it: rent, repairs, what's coming up and any decisions you need.
Can different owners get different levels of detail?
Yes. Some owners want one line and some want everything, so the detail in each monthly owner update is set per owner during the build.
